Civil engineering contractor M.V. Kelly has purchased its 2,000th excavator from Hitachi Construction Machinery UK (HCMUK). Specialising in housebuilding and groundworks, M.V. Kelly also engages in larger civil engineering excavations and more precise road and sewer projects. Thanks to the versatility of the ZX300-7 medium excavator and the precision provided by Leica GPS machine control, operators at the Solihull-based company are well equipped to tackle the wide range of work that comes their way.

With a 27-year history in construction and groundworks, M.V. Kelly combines the personal approach of a family business with the size needed to fulfil some of the largest projects in the UK. These values match perfectly with those of HCMUK, which has led to such a successful collaboration over the years.

“We are incredibly proud to have reached this milestone and it is testament to the longstanding and ongoing relationship between our companies,” says John Kelly, co-founder of M.V. Kelly alongside his father, Martin.
