Komatsu is a Japanese company with a strong presence in the UK since 1985. This makes them a popular choice in the UK market. You will therefore always find a good selection of Komatsu machines for sale from operators and plant traders here, at Plant Pages. Komatsu is the world’s second largest manufacturer of construction and utility equipment that makes over 1,000 medium and large tracked excavators in the UK at their factory in County Durham every year. Komatsu manufactures plenty of dozers, loaders, dump trucks and motor graders as well as their diggers. All Komatsu crawler excavator models start with ‘PC’ , whilst the dozer models start with a ‘D’. Wheel excavators all start ‘PW’ and the Wheel Loaders ‘WA’.
In addition to used Komatsu machines being available from dealers across the country, Komatsu have their own used remarketing arm via the exclusive dealer in the UK, Marubeni-Komatsu where they sell used Komatsu equipment directly.
