The US business started in the UK shortly after 1925 with the first dealer announced based in central London of all places! It wasn’t until 1951 that Caterpillar started its own UK subsidiary in Coalville, Leicestershire.
Through acquisition and investment in the UK, the company now employs over 10,000 people in 19 facilities across the country.
