Banner Plant and Tool Hire recently hosted the #MakeItVisible event as part of the Lighthouse Charity’s UK tour around the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing. The event gathered praise from attendees, including customers, suppliers, and the Banner team, for its impactful message and engaging presentations.

Dale and Rob delivered a relatable Toolbox talk, sharing their firsthand life experiences.  Their discussion not only raised awareness about the Lighthouse charity’s support services but also showcased its invaluable contributions to individuals and families within the construction industry.

While the primary focus of the event was on mental health advocacy, it also provided an opportunity for Banner to demonstrate its continuous investment into new Kubota machines, kindly provided by longstanding supplier BTE Plant Sales.

Chairman of BTE Plant Sales, Ben Elliott, expressed his appreciation for the event, highlighting the Lighthouse charity’s extensive support network. “It was a very worthwhile couple of hours, although being a member of the Lighthouse for many years, I didn’t realise how much help and support they give in so many different ways!

I would recommend all companies in the construction industry to look them up & let their staff know about the important work they do.”

Overall, the #MakeItVisible tour not only shed light on mental health issues but also highlighted Banner Plant’s dedication to investing in its future. A sincere thank you is extended to the Lighthouse charity for their partnership in making this event a success.
